Dr. Robert Bullard has dedicated his life to educating the public about environmental injustices and working toward prevention. Environmental Injustice is the idea that all communities have the right to equal protection of our environment, housing, transportation and health.

Dr. Bullard works at getting urban, low-income, working-class populations of color to find green jobs. He also works to get governments to find more sustainable energy solutions, including cleaner public transportation and other energy efficient solutions.

So what does Dr. Bullard think that we can do?

“I think it is important that everyone understands that there is always something you can do to help and to get involved; whether it is in your immediate community organization, your church or your faith-based organization. You can join and volunteer”.
